Blog #7
I feel that I have not improved as a writer because I have not learned any new things. I have not seen my writing improve because I am probably not putting all my effort on my essays. I am not blaming the class because I realize that I am slacking off. I know that if I put a little more time on my work my writing will improve. However, I am accomplishing my goals for this class because I am keeping focus through out the class. I feel that the class has a lot to after that is why I am learning and keeping a decent grade. Furthermore, if I would change something about the class is writing blogs. I really do not see the point in creating a blogger. I feel that my grade is going down because I do not keep on track in posting blogs. I feel that writing blogs are a waist of time because I do not learn anything since I do it just to get it done. My writing process has not change because I feel that it is effective. It is effective only when I put my full effort on it.

Purpose: The purpose of this add is to demonstrate how red bull can give one a lot energy. If it can makes an old person ride a bike it would definitely make a younger person do wilder things.
Audience: The audience is really for everyone because they are trying to show how red-bull can make a person hyper. The picture is trying to say that if redbull can make an old person ride a bike why wouldn't it work on everybody else.
Genre: This ad compare to almost every other advertisement that redbull has put out because it definitely shows how redbull can make a person really active. They all have a picture were someone who would not be able to accomplish a certain thing is able to do it because redbull gives you the energy to do anything you want.
Tone: The picture of an old woman riding a bike on one wheel is eye catching because it is hard to believe that someone that old would be able to do something like that. Also, nowadays pictures have color so if a picture is black and gray then it will make someone wonder why it does not have color.

Assignment #4-Thinking Critically About Revisions
My first rough draft had many comma splices and fragments. I was just writing to take up space and make my paper longer. However, my final draft is detailed and has many good ideas. I was writing about what happened instead of just making stuff up to fill up the page. My final draft has complete sentences with no run-ons or fragments. I made major revisions to my sentences because I knew I wrote my paper really fast without putting a lot of thought. Therefore I knew I was going to have plenty of fragments. I always had a problem with fragments that is why I focused more on my sentences. I have identified that as a writer I tend to get off track. Therefore, I have to reread every paragraph before I move to the next one. I tend to focus on my sentences and paragraphs. What made me make the revisions I did was rereading because as I read what I wrote I saw many mistakes. When I read over my paper I always find mistakes. I find rereading to be very effective. I believe that my introduction is my strongest point because I know how to introduce my paper. Also, I know how to get to the point easily which is why my introductions are good. I tend to have a lot to talk about when I start my paper, however, I find it difficult to write my conclusion because after writing a long paper I do not feel like restating everything. I had always found it difficult to write my conclusion because I do not know how to summarize a whole paper into a small paragraph.
